It's beyond music

The wonder of a tree - Helen Lord

I stand tall as a tree.
My arms - the branches,
Hang from me

Feet are planted,
Never take for granted,
The wonder of a tree.

My fingers are awake
Like fluttering leaves,
My wrists are bouncing
in their sleeves.

My head points up
My shoulders are wide,
With knees a little bent
I stand with pride.

A tree will sway
Softly in the breeze,
So when I play
I will not freeze.

I stand tall as a tree,
My trunk is firm,
My limbs are free.

Feet are planted,
Never take for granted,
The wonder of a tree.
